First of all, a shout out to every single participant who entered the drawing. You have been so helpful in getting the word out about the opening of Canary Rising's new website! 

These last few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity behind the scenes and each time I took a break, I found a new message or email from someone telling me how much they like the look and feel of Canary Rising and how smooth the experience of taking a class here is. Hoozah! 

I'm glowing and I am so grateful to you all! for helping to give lift to Canary Rising's brand new wings! We are on our way and could not have gotten to this place without you.

This work, titled "Clearing Her Name" was created during the making of the workshop Let Your Heart Speak. Though that class centers around magazine image transfers created on gelli plates, the flow of creativity during the collage and encaustic segments just had my creative wheels flowing.
