Artist's Oracle Cards: Crafting Archetypes with Printmaking and Design
Taking the concept of listening to the artists intuition in the studio, and discovering the deeper messages held inside our bodies, participants will construct their own allegories and archetypes to create a personalized deck of Artists Oracle Cards.
Craft your personal symbolic language . . .
With a focus on tabletop printmaking, including linoleum block printing and gelli plate image transfers, we will explore working with repeat patterns, finding symbolic representation, and developing meaningful design in mixed media.
Beginning a deck of oversized cards and a companion booklet customized to the individual participant will be the focus of this class.
This workshop is a self-paced course, which includes 9 lesson modules totaling 16 - 20 hours of video content.
